Believe in God and We’ll See God’s Deeds

“And he said to her, Daughter, your faith has made you whole; go in peace, and be whole of your plague” (Mark 5 :34).

What have you seen through this verse? God not only tells us that our God has the power of healing the sick, most importantly, He wants us to know that God’s authority and power truly exists, and worthy for us to believe. For many cases, it’s not that God doesn’t enlighten us, nor are God’s deeds hidden from us, but our faith in God is too small and we don’t give a chance for God to work.

Is Hard Working the Conditions for Entry into the Kingdom of Heaven?

By working hard for the Lord, are we really following the way of the Lord? Are we really qualified to enter the kingdom of heaven? The Lord Jesus said: “Not every one that said to me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that does the will of my Father which is in heaven” (Matthew 7:21). Then, what exactly is the standard for man’s entry into the kingdom of heaven?

When is the CCP’s persecution of Christians coming to an end⁉️

Under the religious persecution by the Chinese Communist Party, Chinese Christians live a life in sorrows: they can’t return their home, can’t take care of their parents, nor raise their children. Today, I saw a report that the CCP’s black hand once again stretched to South Korea. The Chinese Communist Party threatens and induces Christians’ families to go to South Korea to stage “demonstrations”, in an attempt to extradite these Christians in South Korea back to China. The Chinese Communist Party does not only forbid people from believing in God, but also persecute believers, some have died. Some Christians have fled from China, but they still can’t stay peaceful in South Korea. Instead, they are in a very dangerous situation and are at risk of being extradited at any time. As persons with righteousness, they will care about this matter. Give some strength to us and freedom back to these Christians! Let us offer sincere prayers to Christians in South Korea as well!

Pray to God with an honest heart

In real life, we often encounter various of hardships, at this time, how should we pray to God?

“The most crucial thing about praying is to speak the words of your true heart to God, telling God of your flaws or rebellious disposition and completely opening yourself up to God. Only then will God be interested in your prayers; if not, then God will hide His face from you. ”

“The lowest standard that God requires of people is that they be able to open their hearts to Him. If man gives his true heart to God and says what is really within his heart to God, then God is willing to work in man; God does not want the twisted heart of man, but his pure and honest heart. If man does not truly speak his heart to God, then God does not touch man’s heart, or work within him. Thus, the most crucial thing about praying is to speak the words of your true heart to God, telling God of your flaws or rebellious disposition and completely opening yourself up to God. Only then will God be interested in your prayers; if not, then God will hide His face from you.”

These words give us the path of walking. If we pray to God with an honest heart, He will listen to our prayer. All the glory be to Almighty God.

Blessings Due to Sickness —Essay on God’s Love

I was born into a poor family in a rural village. Since I was a child, I lived a tough life and was looked down upon by others. I sometimes did not even know if I would have my next meal, let alone snacks and toys. Since my family was poor, when I was little, I would wear what my older sister used to wear. Her clothes were usually too big for me. As a result, when I went to school, the other kids would laugh at me and they would not play with me. My childhood was very bitter. From that point on, I would secretly tell myself: Once I grow up, I will be somebody and make lots of money. I won’t let others look down on me again. Since my family had no money, I was forced to drop out before junior high school. I went to the county town to work in a medicine factory. In order to earn more money, I would frequently work until 9 or 10 PM.

💖How to Be an Honest Person

The Lord Jesus said:👧 “Suffer little children to come to me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God. Truly I say to you, Whoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child shall in no wise enter therein” (Luke 18:16-17). As can be seen from the words of the Lord Jesus, God loves and blesses honest people; only after we have become honest people can we be qualified to enter into the kingdom of God. So undoubtedly, each of us believers in the Lord should practice being an honest person if we want to gain the Lord’s approval. Then, what are the principles of being an honest person? Recently, a preacher fellowshipped this aspect of the truth with me, which benefited me a lot. In the following, I’d like to share it with all of you.

Almighty God's Word, Continuation of The Word Appears in the Flesh—The Way to Know God

Job’s Love of the Way of God Surpasses All Else

Next, let us read the scriptures of the second time that Job was tempted.

  1. Satan Once More Tempts Job (Sore Boils Break Out Across Job’s Body)

a. The Words Spoken by God

(Job 2:3) And the LORD said to Satan, Have you considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that fears God, and eschews evil? and still he holds fast his integrity, although you moved me against him, to destroy him without cause.

(Job 2:6) And the LORD said to Satan, Behold, he is in your hand; but save his life.

b. The Words Spoken by Satan

(Job 2:4-5) And Satan answered the LORD, and said, Skin for skin, yes, all that a man has will he give for his life. But put forth your hand now, and touch his bone and his flesh, and he will curse you to your face.

c. How Job Deals With the Trial

(Job 2:9-10) Then said his wife to him, Do you still retain your integrity? curse God, and die. But he said to her, You speak as one of the foolish women speaks. What? shall we receive good at the hand of God, and shall we not receive evil? In all this did not Job sin with his lips.

(Job 3:3) Let the day perish wherein I was born, and the night in which it was said, There is a man child conceived.

Job’s Love of the Way of God Surpasses All Else

The Scriptures document the words between God and Satan as follows: “And the LORD said to Satan, Have you considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that fears God, and eschews evil? and still he holds fast his integrity, although you moved me against him, to destroy him without cause” (Job 2:3). In this exchange, God repeats the same question to Satan. It is a question that shows us Jehovah God’s affirmative assessment of what was demonstrated and lived out by Job during the first trial, and one that is no different to God’s assessment of Job before he had undergone Satan’s temptation. Which is to say, before the temptation came upon him, in God’s eyes Job was perfect, and thus God protected him and his family, and blessed him; he was worthy to be blessed in God’s eyes. After the temptation, Job did not sin with his lips because he had lost his property and his children, but continued to praise the name of Jehovah. His actual conduct made God applaud him, and give him full marks. For in the eyes of Job, his offspring or his assets were not enough to make him renounce God. God’s place in his heart, in other words, could not be replaced by his children or any piece of property. During Job’s first temptation, he showed God that his love for Him and his love for the way of fearing God and shunning evil surpassed all else. It’s merely that this trial gave Job the experience of receiving a reward from Jehovah God and having his property and children taken away by Him.

For Job, this was a true experience that washed his soul clean, it was a baptism of life that fulfilled his existence, and, what’s more, it was a sumptuous feast that tested his obedience to, and fear of God. This temptation transformed Job’s standing from that of a rich man to someone who had nothing, and it also allowed him to experience Satan’s abuse of mankind. His destitution did not cause him to loathe Satan; rather, in Satan’s vile acts he saw Satan’s ugliness and contemptibility, as well as Satan’s enmity and rebellion toward God, and this better encouraged him to forever hold firm to the way of fearing God and shunning evil. He swore that he would never forsake God and turn his back on the way of God because of external factors such as property, children or kinfolk, nor would he ever be a slave to Satan, property, or any person; apart from Jehovah God, no one could be his Lord, or his God. Such were the aspirations of Job. On the other face of the temptation, Job had also acquired something: He had gained great riches amid the trials given unto him by God.

Job’s Love of the Way of God Surpasses All Else

During his life over the previous several decades, Job had beheld the deeds of Jehovah and gained Jehovah God’s blessings for him. They were blessings that left him feeling enormously uneasy and indebted, for he believed that he had not done anything for God, yet had been bequeathed with such great blessings and had enjoyed so much grace. For this reason, in his heart he often prayed, hoping that he would be able to repay God, hoping that he would have the opportunity to bear testimony to God’s deeds and greatness, and hoping that God would put his obedience to the test, and, moreover, that his faith could be purified, until his obedience and his faith gained God’s approval. And when the trial came upon Job, he believed that God had heard his prayers. Job cherished this opportunity more than anything else, and thus he didn’t dare treat it lightly, for his greatest lifelong wish could be realized. The arrival of this opportunity meant that his obedience and fear of God could be put to the test, and could be made pure. Moreover, it meant that Job had a chance to gain God’s approval, thus bringing him closer to God. During the trial, such faith and pursuit allowed him to become more perfect, and to gain a greater understanding of God’s will. Job also became more grateful for God’s blessings and graces, in his heart he poured greater praise on the deeds of God, and he was more fearful and reverent of God, and longed more for God’s loveliness, greatness, and holiness. At this time, though Job was still one who feared God and shunned evil in the eyes of God, with regard to his experiences, Job’s faith and knowledge had come on in leaps and bounds: His faith had increased, his obedience had gained a foothold, and his fear of God had become more profound. Though this trial transformed Job’s spirit and life, such a transformation did not satisfy Job, nor did it slow his progress onward. At the same time as calculating what he had gained from this trial, and considering his own deficiencies, he quietly prayed, waiting for the next trial to come upon him, because he yearned for his faith, obedience, and fear of God to be elevated during the next trial of God.

God observes the inmost thoughts of man and all that man says and does. Job’s thoughts reached the ears of Jehovah God, and God listened to his prayers, and in this way God’s next trial for Job arrived as expected.

Why Do Children Get Hurt by Parents’ Love?

One day, I saw a picture in which a child was carrying a very big schoolbag when I was viewing web pages. Apparently, the heavy schoolbag showed the child’s great pressure of study. What’s more, on the schoolbag sat the parents of the child. Of course, the point was not the child really carrying the parents, it aimed to symbolize the pressure from the parents. And surprisingly, the parents were weaving black lines above the child’s head, which I thought referred to manipulating the child’s thinking. How can a little child bear such pressure?

What Is the Most Valuable Thing for Man to Pursue in His Life?

Living in such an acquisitive society, people all believe that we can’t survive without money. Money, fame, and gain are also a symbol of the identity and status of a man in the society. Many people think getting money and fame and gain means success in their career, which is a most valuable life. When God’s gospel come to man, many people even do not want to spare a little time to know how God saves man. They just busy themselves with work and making money and can’t spare any time to attend meeting or read God’s words, which leads to the relationship between God and them becoming more and more distant. Is money, fame or gain really more precious than life? If we just unceasingly make money with the excuse of supporting our family or developing our careers but ignore the voice of the Creator’s salvation for us, and put our belief in God and pursuing the truth aside, when the disaster comes to us, can money and fame and gain really protect us from being destroyed?

💓 Only God Loves Man the Most 💓

“Only the Creator! Only the Creator has pity on this mankind. Only the Creator shows this mankind tenderness and affection. Only the Creator holds a true, unbreakable affection for this mankind. Likewise, only the Creator can bestow mercy on this mankind and cherish all of His creation. His heart leaps and aches at every one of man’s actions: He is angered, distressed and grieved over man’s evil and corruption; He is pleased, joyful, forgiving and jubilant for man’s repentance and belief; every single one of His thoughts and ideas exist for and revolve around mankind; what He is and has is expressed entirely for mankind’s sake; the entirety of His emotions are intertwined with mankind’s existence. For mankind’s sake, He travels and rushes about; He silently gives forth every bit of His life; He dedicates every minute and second of His life…. He has never known how to pity His own life, yet He has always pitied and cherished the mankind He Himself created…. He gives all that He has to this humanity…. He grants His mercy and tolerance unconditionally and without expectation of recompense. He does this only so that mankind can continue to survive before His eyes, receiving His provision of life; He does this only so that mankind may one day submit before Him and recognize that He is the One who nourishes man’s existence and supplies the life of all creation.”

God’s sheep hear His voice

Today, in the last days, we are watching and waiting for the return of the Lord Jesus. Meanwhile, we are also guarding against being deceived by false Christs. On the subject of welcoming the Lord, many people blindly focus much of their attention on guarding against false Christs, but overlook seeking God’s utterances. The Lord Jesus said, “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me” (Jhn 10:27). If we wish to welcome the return of the Lord, it is essential to recognize God’s voice. Then how should we discern His voice? The following God’s words will show us the right way of practice.

When we do not have the confidence to face the difficulties in our lives and live in suffering, what shall we do?

📘Almighty God says: “It’s very simple now: Look upon Me with your heart and your spirit will immediately become strong, you will have a path to follow and I will guide your every step. My word shall be revealed to you at all times and in all places. No matter where or when, or how adverse the environment is, I will show you clearly and My heart shall be revealed to you if you look to Me with your heart; this way[a] you will run down the road ahead and never lose your way.”

What Is Most Essential in Welcoming the Lord’s Return

Now is already the last days, and also the key time for welcoming the Lord’s return. Speaking of welcoming the Lord, many brothers and sisters know that it’s an important thing that pertains to whether or not we can be brought into the kingdom of heaven. What Made 30-year-old Estranged Couple Open Heart to Each Other

What should we do when facing disease?

Recently some of my friends suffer illness. I pray for them and I want to share some of my experiences and opinions. Hope we can encourage each other.

My mom was a frail and sickly person. Since my childhood, I remembered there was a drawer at home dedicated to the storage of various medicines, and the drawer was always full. Growing up in such an environment, I heavily relied on medicine during illness, and I would buy the most expensive medication, only hoping I could get better soon. Later, my mother believed in the Lord Jesus, and medicines in the drawer reduced little by little, to the extent that I couldn’t even find cold medication. Actually, what I am trying to get across here is not that we will not get sicknesses due to our faith in God, or we need neither see a doctor nor take medicine during sickness. But rather, when illness comes to us, what kind of attitude should we have? What should we put into practice so as to adhere to the Lord’s will? By experiencing God’s work and praying to Him and seeking His will, I understand some paths of practice.

Why Did God Say That David Was After His Will?

David was a king who was deeply venerated and supported by the Israelites.

At the mention of David, many of his brave deeds will appear in my mind: He killed the giant Goliath by slinging a stone at him; he bravely went out to battle and won every battle; he praised Jehovah God with the psaltery and harp. … But I also remember his blemish—killing Uriah and taking his wife Bathsheba by force.

How should we look upon David? In what ways is it worthwhile for us to emulate about him?

Partner for Life Has Been Predetermined by God

My Expectation of a Happy Marriage

I was born into a happy Christian family. Since I was little, I has believed in the Lord with my family. When I was young, my aunt often took me to the church to attend services. Whenever I saw brothers and sisters having their wedding in the church, with happy and sweet smiles on their faces, I would dream that God would also bestow a happy and good marriage upon me when I grew up.

Children are a gift from God

👓The Perspective of Christian 👓

The author Long Yingtai has ever said in her article, “The relationship between parents and children just means that parents are destined to watch the receding figures of their children constantly in this life.” When I first read this, I had not raised a family yet. So, I naturally couldn’t appreciate the emotional entanglement and strong attachment between parents and children.

Longest Eclipse in Century—(Rare) Blood Moon Will Reappear

Blood Moon to Reappear

The rare celestial event—total lunar eclipse, will reappear at 20:22:54 UTC on the night of July 27th, 2018.

According to Wikipedia, in this lunar eclipse, the lunar’s right ascension is 20°28’12’’ and declination is 19°; the umbral magnitude is 2.679 and the penumbral magnitude is 1.609. The entire celestial event will last for nearly four hours. The partial lunar eclipse will last for 235 mins; the total lunar eclipse will last for 103 mins, making it the longest eclipse in this century. In the meantime, the moon will turn a spectacular red or ruddy-brown color, which is the origin of its being called “blood moon.”

Blood month

It said that the eclipse won’t be visible to observers in North America. But lunar scientist Noah Petro, of NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Centre, believed that observers in much of Africa, the Middle East, Southern Asia, and the Indian Ocean region will get an eyeful, given cooperative weather. Observers don’t need any kind of special equipment; they can see the spectacular blood moon with naked eyes or ordinary telescopes.

Frequent Appearance of the Blood Moon Draws the World’s Attention

This total lunar eclipse will last for a long time, which attracts the attention of astronomers. Also, it causes Christians to think: The blood moon reappears, and how soon will the great and terrible day of Jehovah come?

Paul Begley, a Christian missionary in Indiana, believed that July 27 is not the end of the world, but it can be seen that the blood moon was prophetically prophesied of the last days in the scriptures from Acts 2 and Revelation 6.

The blood moon also once occurred several times. Especially the appearance of the four blood moons during 2014 to 2015 coincided with the great holidays of Judaism. Respectively, they happened on April 15, 2014, April 4, 2015 (the Jewish Passovers), on October 8, 2014, and September 28, 2015 (the Feast of Tabernacles). Such an extraordinary phenomenon causes us to pay more attention to the prophecy in the Bible concerning the blood moon.

It’s recorded in Revelation 6:12, “And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, see, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood.” And Joel 2:29-31 record, “And also on the servants and on the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit. And I will show wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and terrible day of Jehovah comes.” From these verses we can easily know that the blood moon will appear before the arrival of Jehovah’s great and terrible day, that is, the appearance of the blood moon is a sign that the great disaster is near.

Seven Seals Have Been Loosed; Where Are Gods Footsteps?

Every Christian knows that the Book of Revelation is God’s prophecy about the last days. Regarding the seven seals, Revelation 5:1-5 record, “And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals. And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, Who is worthy to open the book, and to loose the seals thereof? And no man in heaven, nor in earth, neither under the earth, was able to open the book, neither to look thereon. And I wept much, because no man was found worthy to open and to read the book, neither to look thereon. And one of the elders said to me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Juda, the Root of David, has prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof.

From these verses we can know that only God Himself can loose the seven seals and open the book. Nowadays, the blood moon frequently appears. Is it a sign that the Lord Jesus has returned and loosed the seals and opened the book? If so, where is He? What is the mystery He has revealed? What is the book He has opened? I think it’s the key question that we Christians should seek most when seeing the blood moon again.

The appearance of the blood moon is the beginning of the great disaster. Nowadays, disasters are frequently occurring around the world, such as wars, earthquakes, droughts, floods, viruses, and so on. The prophecies in the Book of Revelation have already been fulfilled; Jehovah’s great and terrible day will soon arrive and the great disaster is drawing near. In my view, what I should do is pray and seek out where exactly the Lord is and what He is doing now.

The Lord Jesus said, “Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and you shall find; knock, and it shall be opened to you” (Matthew 7:7). We believe that the Lord Jesus won’t abandon every sheep who truly seeks and searches for Him. Brothers and sisters, let’s pray and call on the Lord together, asking Him to enlighten and move us, so that we can find the Lord’s footsteps soon and welcome His appearance. All this we ask in the name of the Lord Jesus. Amen!

After work, we begin to experience the sovereignty of the Creator

Recently I chatted with a close sister in Christ. When it comes to work, we are very emotional: the fate of a person is really not in his own hands, can he find a job that suits his or her own interests that not determined by his own will, ability, and strength. In the beginning, I had excellent grades and confidently believed that I would definitely be able to work in a profession related to my major after graduation. However, I had to choose a job different from professionalism. It makes me can’t help thinking of a paragraph about the truth of the Lord’s domination send by my cousin. I think this passage is too practical. Share with you, my dear Sisters and brothers.

Almighty God's Word, Continuation of The Word Appears in the Flesh—The Way to Know God

Thank God for giving us everything

Almighty God said, “All things cannot be separated from God’s rule, and not a single person can separate themselves from His rule. Losing His rule and losing His provisions would mean that people’s lives, people’s lives in the flesh would disappear. This is the importance of God establishing environments for survival for mankind. It doesn’t matter what race you are or what piece of land you live on, be it in the West or the East—you cannot separate yourself from the environment for survival that God has established for mankind, and you cannot separate yourself from the nurturing and provisions of the environment for survival He has established for humans. No matter what your livelihood is, what you rely on to live, and what you rely on to sustain your life in the flesh, you cannot separate yourself from God’s rule and His management.”

I No Longer Cold-Shouldered My Husband After Over a Decade Together

When I was a child, I always heard people say: “A husband with prestige brings honor to his wife.” “Follow the man you marry, be he a cock or dog.” (A Chinese idiom which means a girl has no choice but to live obediently with the man she marries, whether he is good or bad, for the rest of her life.) At that time, I always thought that when I grew up, I must marry a successful husband who would come from a great family and would earn big bucks and protect me and my child. I also believed that the first incarnation of a woman was not up to her, but the second incarnation of a woman was marriage, and it was up to her to decide. This was the biggest goal for my life.

Jonah 4:10-11: “Then said Jehovah, You have had pity on the gourd, for the which you have not labored, neither made it grow; which came up in a night, and perished in a night: And should not I spare Nineveh, that great city, wherein are more then six score thousand persons that cannot discern between their right hand and their left hand; and also much cattle?”

I Know the Proper Pursuit of Faith in God!

Recently a brother and I talked about the topic of believing God together. I enjoy our talking so much. Through our fellowship, We find that whenever encountering difficulties and adversities, we would have no faith in God, and even be full of misunderstanding and blame toward Him within. For instance, when we was ill yet God didn’t remove our illness because of our prayer, our faith in Him would become ever weaker; when encountering various hardships and frustrations in life, we often complained about God in our heart…We shared some good examples in the Bible who have high faith to the Lord, like Job and Abraham. We all think we can’t do the same when we meet their test…

Hardships Make You Stronger

A kind of flower, known as Yimi flower, is in full bloom, creating a beautiful sight in the vast desert; each Yimi flower has four petals in different colors: red, yellow, white and blue. However, very few people knew how many hardships it has undergone before it blooms.

In general, the more developed the roots of plants are, the better these plants can survive in the arid desert. However, Yimi flower only has one root. In order to draw sufficient moisture and nourishment from the soil, it can only send its roots deeper into the soil. The process takes at least five years. During this period, it has to endure the loneliness, the burning sun and strong wind, and will often sway in the wind and thus be covered with wounds and bruises. Then, after some time, usually on a bright sunny day, it blooms silently, fulfills its mission as a flower and lives out its values.

It’s hard to develop a great life force in a comfortable environment. Actually, what lies behind the hardships contains God’s will.

The Book of Proverbs from the Bible has this to say: “The fining pot is for silver, and the furnace for gold: but the LORD tries the hearts” (Proverbs 17:3).

Moses alone walked into the wilderness, where people thought none could survive, and lived there for forty years by relying on God. Hardships made him learn how to depend on God in all things and allowed believe in God to become stronger and stronger, so he could walk out of the wild to accept what God entrusted to him. Later, even when he was confronted with the perils—in front of him was the Red Sea, and behind him were the Egyptian soldiers after him, he was quite fearless, and led the Israelites out of Egypt by relying on God, and accomplished the job that God had entrusted him with.

If you are in a spot, do not complain, sorrow or evade it. For the blossom of our life requires a process, during this process we must endure hardships in the process, which is like the nourishment that we need to absorb. Just like Yimi flower, which will have to be frequently hit by sandstorms in the desert before it is in full bloom tenaciously. In our ordinary lives, whatever pressure, troubles or difficulties we may face, it is permitted by God and contains His good intentions. God hopes we can learn how to pray to Him and rely on Him in adversity. Only if we obey God’s leading and the word of God, will He get us through difficulties. God will also lead us to grow in adversity just as He led Moses, until our humanity becomes mature and we become strong. One day, we can bear witness to God’s deeds and repay the grace of His salvation. Then, we will be able to live a life of value and perform our duty of a created being.

How Can Those Living in the Sins Enter the Kingdom of Heaven?

Clouds drifted in the blue sky, while some birds were alighting in a tree near the meeting place, chirping like playing a vivid song. In the meeting place of a house church, preacher Li Xun invited her classmate Yang Min (a co-worker works in another area) to attend the co-worker meeting, and they were talking about the topic of “being saved” and “entering into the kingdom of heaven”…

Humble Yourself, Make Friends With Students

I have been engaged in teaching for more than 20 years. In my students’ eyes, I’m a good teacher who is either strict or conscientious and responsible. In the past, I taught in a primary school all the time. Afterward I was transferred to a middle school to do support services, being in charge of the student dormitories. The middle school students were not so obedient as the pupils, and they even more had their own ideas. Moreover, the present students were willful and they wouldn’t like to listen to what the teachers said. Therefore, it was not easy for me to do this job. Sometimes, when the students didn’t listen to me, I lost my temper. I really didn’t have any idea how to make a good job of taking charge of student dormitories.

The Appearance of God Has Brought a New Age
Almighty God's Word, The Word Appears in the Flesh

Exactly what work will Jesus do when He returns?

Though Jesus did much work among man, He only completed the redemption of all mankind and became man’s sin offering, and did not rid man of all his corrupt disposition. Fully saving man from the influence of Satan not only required Jesus to take on the sins of man as the sin offering, but also required God to do greater work to completely rid man of his disposition, which has been corrupted by Satan. And so, after man was forgiven his sins, God has returned to flesh to lead man into the new age, and begun the work of chastisement and judgment, and this work has brought man into a higher realm. All those who submit under His dominion shall enjoy higher truth and receive greater blessings. They shall truly live in the light, and shall gain the truth, the way, and the life.

Faced With Difficulties, You Need to Understand God’s Will

I have heard such a story: The course of eagles’ growth is cruel. In order for the eaglets to hover in the sky, the mother eagle will push them over the cliff when their feathers are full. While they are falling, eaglets exhaust all their strength to flutter to survive. Through struggling painfully, finally they can fly. However, for the sake of letting them soar in the high sky, the mother eagle will break their wings and push them over the cliff again. This time, they will suffer more pain than before. Yet no matter how painful they are, they still have to flutter their broken wings. Because only by doing this can they hover in the high sky; otherwise, they will never be able to fly in the blue sky.

After Being Honest …

Today I watched this Kids Dance Christian Music Video with my daughter again. She also dances with it. Those who sincerely love God are all honest people. I hope that she will be this kind of Christian in the future. God is trustworthy, He only wants honest people for His Kingdom. And that’s why God wants us to be honest people. This reminds me of myself experience. After Being Honest …

If a Believer Confesses But Still Sins, Can he Truly Enter Into the Kingdom of Heaven?

🌀 Just as many brothers and sisters in the Lord, I also often ask: I attend the worship in the church every week, and I often read the Bible and expend and work for the Lord. But I live in a circle of committing and confessing sins. If I go on like this, will the Lord Jesus truly forgive me? How will Him treat a sinner?
Before a brother said to me, “Do you even have to ask this? The Lord is merciful and loving. No matter how serious sins we commit, the Lord will always forgive and absolve us. And at last the Lord second coming will bring us into the kingdom of heaven. Then we’ll be with the Lord in the paradise.” In the past, I thought in the same way. Because of this viewpoint, I didn’t pay attention to my sins, and even indulged myself and gave free rein to the spread of sin. But later, I got some light after I heard a sermon by a preacher. Here I share his sermon with you.

What Is True Repentance?

The Lord Jesus said, “Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand” (Matthew 4:17). From the Lord’s words we know that to enter into God’s kingdom, we must confess and repent to Him. But what is true repentance? Dear brothers and sisters, the following article will explain it to us and help us find the right way of practice. I have benefited from it😊

🍀🍀What can fill the emptiness of our spirit?

📰📰Recently I saw the news of two famous people’s death. One is an American fashion designer, and the other is an American celebrity chef. When they were alive, they had enviable fame and status. However, they all finally chose to end their lives by hanging themselves. In this society now, though more and more people can enjoy a high-quality material life, we can’t get rid of the feeling of emptiness. So we feel that it’s no interesting to be alive. I can’t help sighing: What can fill the emptiness of our spirit? Today I read a passage of Almighty God‘s words. I finally know the root cause of the issue.

the pic from the church of Almighty God

“From when man first had social sciences, the mind of man was occupied by science and knowledge. Then science and knowledge became tools for the ruling of mankind, and there was no longer sufficient room for man to worship God, and no more favorable conditions for the worship of God. The position of God sunk ever lower in the heart of man. A world in man’s heart with no place for God is dark, empty without hope. And so arose many social scientists, historians, and politicians to express theories of social science, the theory of human evolution, and other theories that contravene the truth that God created man, to fill the heart and mind of man. And in this way, those who believe that God created everything become ever fewer, and those who believe in the theory of evolution become ever greater in number. More and more people treat records of the work of God and His words during the Old Testament age as myths and legends. In their hearts, people become indifferent to the dignity and greatness of God, to the tenet that God exists and holds dominion over all things. The survival of mankind and the fate of countries and nations are no longer important to them. Man lives in a hollow world only concerned with eating, drinking, and the pursuit of pleasure. … Few people take it upon themselves to seek out where God does His work today, or to look for how He presides over and arranges the destination of man. And in this way, human civilization unconsciously becomes ever more incapable of meeting the wishes of man, and there are even many people who feel that, living in such a world, they are less happy than people who have gone. Even people of countries that used to be highly civilized air such grievances. For without the guidance of God, no matter how much rulers and sociologists wrack their brains to preserve human civilization, it is to no avail. No one can fill the emptiness in man’s heart, for no one can be the life of man, and no social theory can free man from the emptiness with which he is afflicted. Science, knowledge, freedom, democracy, leisure, comfort, these are but a temporary respite. Even with these things, man will inevitably sin and bemoan the injustices of society. These things cannot allay man’s craving and desire to explore. Because man was made by God and the senseless sacrifices and explorations of man can only lead to more distress. Man will exist in a constant state of fear, will not know how to face the future of mankind, or how to face the path that lies ahead. Man will even come to fear science and knowledge, and fear even more the feeling of emptiness within him. In this world, regardless of whether you live in a free country or one without human rights, you are utterly incapable of escaping the fate of mankind. Whether you are the ruler or the ruled, you are utterly incapable of escaping the desire to explore the fate, mysteries, and destination of mankind. Much less are you capable of escaping the bewildering sense of emptiness. Such phenomena, which are common to all of mankind, are called social phenomena by sociologists, yet no great man can come forth to solve such problems. Man, after all, is man. The position and life of God cannot be replaced by any man. Mankind does not just require a fair society in which everyone is well-fed and is equal and free, but the salvation of God and His provision of life to them. Only when man receives the salvation of God and His provision of life to them can the needs, yearning to explore, and spiritual emptiness of man be resolved. If the people of a country or a nation are unable to receive the salvation and care of God, then such a country or nation will tread the road to ruin, toward darkness, and shall be annihilated by God.”

These words enlighten me so much. Only God can fill the emptiness of our spirit. Only God is my strength to live in this world.

The one who holds sovereignty over everything

Almighty God said, “How many creatures are there living and reproducing in the vast expanse of the universe, following the law of life over and over, adhering to one constant rule. Those who die take with them the stories of the living, and those who are living repeat the same tragic history of those who have died. And so mankind can’t help but ask itself: Why do we live? And why do we have to die? Who is in command of this world? And who created this mankind? Was mankind really created by Mother Nature? Is mankind really in control of its own fate? …

What is God’s will in the disasters in the last days?

🔔🔔For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be earthquakes in divers places, and there shall be famines and troubles: these are the beginnings of sorrows. (Mark 13:8)

💠💠Recently, I am always focusing on the rainstorm in southern China. The waterlogging is serious in the most cities. Brothers and sisters, please pray for my compatriot! Nowadays, both natural and man-made disasters occur frequently all around the world. They spread over more and more regions and grow more and more ferocious. Earthquakes, floods, droughts, famines, and plagues can be seen everywhere; violence, racial conflicts, and terrorist attacks frequently take place; the situation of every country is in turmoil and wars continue…. The Lord Jesus’ prophecies about the end of the world have been fulfilled one after another.

The Fruits of Obeying God

Xie Cheng

A few days ago, my leader Sister Cheng told me that the church had a new work that required some manpower, and asked me whether I’d be willing to do it. Hearing my leader say this, I was beside myself with joy, and I thought: “For three months now, I’ve been reflecting on how I was replaced because my striving for fame and gain in my duties interrupted and disturbed the church’s work. Now, at last, I can perform my duty again! If my brothers and sisters knew this, they’d definitely pay special regard to me, and would think that I’ve made progress by experiencing this failure.” I agreed to do it there and then. To Be an Honest Person Is Truly Great!

Wu Ming

One day in 2004 a friend said to me: “Every day you get up early and are busy all day cutting cloth, you exhaust yourself, yet you still don’t make money. Today’s society relies on the tongue to make money, like the popular saying goes: ‘It is better to have a slick tongue than to have strong arms and legs.’ You know that I’m now engaging in the direct sales business selling makeup products, not only does it make me beautiful, I also don’t need to exert too much effort each day, I just need to speak a few words with my customers and sell my products in order to make a lot of money. Why don’t you change jobs and come sell makeup products with me?” I looked my friend over, she really was prettier than before, and then I thought about how I had been a dressmaker for over 10 years, how I hadn’t really made any money at it, and how I wasn’t getting any younger. If it really was like what my friend was saying, if by switching to a job where I sold makeup products I could make easy money, and could even become younger and prettier and win the high praises of others, then that would be much better! As I thought about this, I told her right then and there that I was willing to become a part of the company. Later, after my inspection, I ordered over 3,000 yuan worth of products, and I started my job in the cosmetics industry as a beauty consultant for this company. The Word of God Leads Me to Live Out a Little Like a Human

By Xiao Ye, Japan

I was born into a blessed family. From a young age, my parents loved me very much. In addition, my grades were good and adults often praised me in front of my brothers, sisters and me: “Xiao Ye will certainly have good prospects in the future….” I really felt so much pride for myself after hearing this and always indulged in self-admiration and wild arrogance, thinking I was better than my siblings, regarding myself as a rare talent in the family…. I grew up in such a superior environment. Continue reading “The Word of God Leads Me to Live Out a Little Like a Human”

Farewell to Those Days of Wrestling With Fate

A rustic village fallen behind, my parents exhausted from their work, a life in financial straits … these gloomy memories were branded on to my young mind, they were my first impression of “fate.” After I started attending school, the first time I heard my teacher say that “You control your fate in your own hands,” I kept these words firmly in my mind. I believed that although I could not change the fact that I was born into poverty, I could still change my own fate through hard work. As a result, I exerted my full strength to wrestle with my “fate,” and gain a slice of heaven to call my own. Continue reading “Farewell to Those Days of Wrestling With Fate”

God Didn’t Have the Heart to Let Me Fall Into the Underworld

How a Public Security Bureau Local Station Chief Was Conquered by God’s Words

Zhang Jun

Almighty God says: “Look back to the time of Noah’s ark: Mankind was deeply corrupt, had strayed from the blessing of God, was no longer cared for by God, and had lost the promises of God. They lived in darkness, without the light of God. Thus they became licentious by nature, abandoned themselves to hideous depravity. Such men could no longer receive the promise of God; they were unfit to witness the face of God, nor to hear the voice of God, for they had abandoned God, had cast aside all that He had bestowed upon them, and had forgotten the teachings of God. Their heart strayed farther and farther from God, and as it did, they became depraved beyond all reason and humanity, and became increasingly evil. Thus they came ever closer to death, and fell under the wrath and punishment of God. Only Noah worshiped God and shunned evil, and so he was able to hear the voice of God, and hear the instructions of God. He built the ark according to the instructions of God’s word, and assembled all manner of living creatures. And in this way, once everything had been prepared, God unleashed His destruction upon the world. Only Noah and the seven members of his family survived the destruction, for Noah worshiped Jehovah and shunned evil” (“God Presides Over the Fate of All Mankind” in The Word Appears in the Flesh). After reading this passage of God’s words I fell into a state of deep contemplation …

A Doctor’s Experience of Metamorphosis

Liu Jing

When I was a child, whenever my mother took me to the hospital to see a doctor and I saw all the doctors and nurses in their white gowns scurrying around, I always thought that they looked like angels in white. I was full of admiration for them, and I used to think: If I could be an angel in white too when I grow up, that would be so great! As a young adult, my school grades were exceptionally good and I was able to pass the entrance exam for medical college, and eventually my heartfelt wish came true when I was sent to a certain city hospital to begin my career as a doctor. You can’t imagine how happy I was on the first day that I put on a white gown! The professional duty of doctors is to cure illness and prevent death, and that makes the profession highly respected, lofty! I was determined to live up to the nickname, angels in white, by being a totally responsible and professional doctor committed to relieving the suffering of my patients. Christian Life: The Correct Way to Teach One’s Child and Be a Caring Mother

By Lexin

“Mom, you used to be so strict with my studies that I never had any time to play. You’ve changed so much for the better now and you speak so gently. I love you, mom,” said the innocent, lively young girl cheerfully as she lay flat by her young mother’s ear, and the young mother’s face flushed with happiness.

This young mother’s name is Lexin, and when we hear her daughter’s simple expression, we can deduce that their relationship was previously not so harmonious, because of the pressure Lexin placed on her daughter regarding her studies. So what’s the story between this mother and her daughter? And how did Lexin manage to change the way she educates her daughter, and obtain her daughter’s high opinion? Please read Lexin’s experiences of educating her daughter.

High Hopes for the Newborn Daughter

Under the influence of the ideas and views that “Knowledge can change your fate,” and “The worth of other pursuits is small, the study of books excels them all,” as I myself was not educated to a very high level, I hoped that my child would become a brilliant student when he or she got older and have good future prospects. I had heard that antenatal training made children more intelligent, so while I was pregnant, I bought lots of nursery rhymes and began antenatal training with music, and I made a point of eating some foods that would promote fetal brain development. After my daughter was born, I bought for her some education insurance to prepare for the costs of going to college. When she was 1 year old, I began to ask around about which kindergarten, which grade school and which middle school were the best, to pave the way for her future. And so, in this way, I was constantly making plans for my daughter’s future, afraid that if I didn’t arrange things properly now, then it could have a negative impact on her future.

Piling on the Pressure Achieved the Opposite of My Intentions

But things didn’t go as smoothly as I had imagined. At kindergarten, my daughter was getting poor grades in math. So as to prevent this from affecting her getting into grade school, I quickly signed her up for a mental arithmetic class, but every time I took her to the class, she would cry loudly and would not go into the classroom. Seeing her struggle so much with her studies, I felt bad too, and I thought to myself: “My daughter is so young still. Is it wrong to try to force her to study like this?” But then I thought, “If my daughter doesn’t lay the foundations right now, she won’t get into a good grade school due to her poor results in math. And then that will have a knock-on effect to her getting into middle school, and then college, and then what prospects will she have for her future? No, I can’t let her temper get in the way. I’m doing this for her own good.” And so, every time we went to the class, I had to cajole and persuade her and practically push her into the classroom.

After a while, however, I discovered that my daughter’s math grades were not getting any better, and I became very worried. I thought that hard work could make up for any lack of natural ability, so I demanded that she memorize math formulas every day, and when I saw that she had made mistakes in her homework, I would immediately correct them. Sometimes, she wanted to play for a while, but I would teach her instead, completely erasing the exercise questions she’d done wrong and ordering her to do them over until she’d gotten them right. When I saw other parents signing their children up for all kinds of classes in order to get them into famous grade schools, I feared that my daughter was falling behind, and so I drew up a strict study program for her: Apart from completing the lessons her teachers assigned to her, every day I demanded that she do many extra study exercises and that her writing be very neat and tidy. My daughter would therefore often have temper tantrums, saying, “Mommy, I’m tired of writing. Can I play for a bit and then do some more later?” I would then get impatient with her and say, “No! You’ve still got lots of lessons to go through. See how well-behaved your classmate so-and-so is. She takes the initiative and does all her lessons every day. Not like you. You just want to play all day long!” Seeing my rigid stance, my daughter would feel wronged and would burst into tears. Seeing her in this state, I would soften my tone and try to comfort her, saying, “I’m doing this for your own good. Do you want to be as uneducated as me when you grow up, and only be able to find a job that’s exhausting and toilsome?” My daughter didn’t respond, but just wiped her eyes and kept on with her lessons. When I thought of how she had recently been under so much pressure with her lessons that she would often get upset and lose her temper, I felt really bad. But then I comforted myself by thinking: “There is such fierce competition in society today. Without a good college diploma, people can’t get a good job. If I’m a little ruthless with my daughter now, she will have good prospects in the future. She’ll understand all my painstaking efforts when she grows up!”

But as time wore on, I found that my daughter who had always been cheerful was becoming more and more taciturn. She no longer liked to greet the neighbors, and we were becoming more and more distant from each other. When I got home, it would be as though she didn’t see me, and she would ignore me completely, whereas before she would run over and give me a hug and tell me all about what had happened at school that day. I saw these changes happening in her and I felt terrible.

At a parent teacher meeting one time, her teacher asked me, “Have you noticed recently that your daughter doesn’t speak much anymore and that she’s falling behind in her studies? Perhaps you’re putting too much pressure on her. You should know that kids learn faster when they’re happy, so don’t put so much pressure on her from now on and just let things take their course!” When the teacher said this, I felt upset and also somewhat disappointed. I thought: “My daughter not saying much lately is indeed because I’ve been so strict with her studies, but I’ve done this so that she can get better grades. I never imagined … What am I supposed to do?” When I thought of how my daughter would soon be taking the exams to move on to grade school, I couldn’t help but feel anxious, afraid that she would not get into a good school. But neither did I want to add any more pressure on her, lest I achieved the opposite of what I wanted for her. For a while, I felt very conflicted and I didn’t know what to do for the best …

God Holds Sovereignty Over My Daughter’s Destiny

In August 2017, I was fortunate enough to accept God’s work of the last days. At a gathering, I opened up to my sister and fellowshiped with her about how I was supposed to educate my daughter, a matter that had always given me such a headache. The sister shared with me a passage of God’s word, “People know that they are powerless and hopeless in this life, that they will not have another chance, another hope, to stand out from others, and that they have no choice but to accept their fates. And so they project all their hopes, their unrealized desires and ideals, onto the next generation, hoping that their offspring can help them achieve their dreams and realize their desires; that their daughters and sons will bring glory to the family name, become important, rich, or famous; in short, they want to see their children’s fortunes soar. People’s plans and fantasies are perfect; do they not know that the number of children they have, their children’s appearance, abilities, and so forth, are not for them to decide, that their children’s fates do not at all rest in their palms? Humans are not the masters of their own fate, yet they hope to change the fates of the younger generation; they are powerless to escape their own fates, yet they try to control those of their sons and daughters. Are they not overestimating themselves? Is this not human foolishness and ignorance?” (“God Himself, the Unique III”).

God’s words are so real—this was exactly how I had been thinking. I had always thought that, because I had no college degree myself, I had no opportunity to stand out in life, and so I put all my hopes onto my daughter. I wanted to depend on my own efforts to train my daughter well, to lay good foundations for her while she was still young, so that in the future she would get into a good college and have good future prospects. Therefore, before my daughter was even born, I did antenatal training. And after she started school, I micromanaged her, pressed her and pressured her, forcing her to study according to the study program I’d drawn up for her. I ended up placing a lot of pressure on her, and not only did her grades not improve, but her personality was becoming more and more solitary and unsociable, she lost the joy an innocent, naive child should have had, and she was becoming increasingly distant from me. This was all caused by me not understanding God’s sovereignty and wanting instead to rely on my own abilities to improve my child’s grades. Now I understand that people’s destinies were long ago ruled and preordained by God, and whether or not my child would have good prospects in the future was not up to me—it was all in God’s hands. I had no control over my own destiny, and yet had still wanted to change my daughter’s destiny through my own efforts. I really was so arrogant, ignorant and foolish!

God’s Words Reveal to Me the Source of All Pain

Later, I read these words of God, “As far as children go, all parents hope that their children will receive higher education and that they’ll someday get ahead, have a place in society as well as have both a stable income and influence—that way they can honor the family line. Everyone has this point of view. Is it the right viewpoint to hope that ‘the son becomes a dragon, the daughter becomes a phoenix’? Everyone wants their children to go to a prestigious university and then pursue advanced studies, thinking that after getting degrees they’ll stand out from the crowd. This is because in their hearts, everyone worships knowledge, believing that ‘The worth of other pursuits is small, the study of books excels them all.’ On top of that, competition in modern society is particularly fierce, and without a degree you’re not even guaranteed to be able to put food on the table. This is how everyone thinks about it. That is, what you learn and what kind of educational background you can achieve will decide your livelihood, your future. In other words, people intend to rely on this thing to survive throughout life, and they see it as especially important. That’s why everyone sees receiving a high-level education and getting into a top university as the number one most important thing for their children” (“Only by Knowing Your Misguided Views Can You Know Yourself”).

Were what God’s words revealed not precisely the views I had held? Under the influence of the thinking that “Knowledge can change your fate,” and “The worth of other pursuits is small, the study of books excels them all,” I believed that, if someone wanted to have a good future, then they had to receive a high level of education and get into a good college. And so, I made strict demands of my daughter and put pressure on her to study, I made her make up for anything she lacked in any class, and I didn’t care whether she liked it or not. When she couldn’t meet my set goals, I would then force her to do all kinds of study exercises and deprive her of any playtime. And even when she complained, though I loved her so much, spurred on by that thinking I would pay no attention to her feelings, believing that everything I was doing was for her own good, and I kept forcing her to study. In the end, I just caused her pain, and she ended up becoming more and more introverted and solitary. I thought of how so many parents were just like me, who didn’t want their children to fail before they’d even started, and so signed them up at a very young age to all kinds of study classes and interest classes, thus imperceptibly putting a lot of pressure on them. And the result is that the children can’t bear such a weight. Some become depressed and some commit suicide by jumping off of buildings and so end their lives. Is this not a tragedy caused by people living by these wrong views and ideas? Is it not the result of Satan harming and devouring people? As I was thinking these thoughts, I suddenly saw the light. It turned out that these wrong thoughts that Satan indoctrinates us with make us blindly pile pressure onto our children to study, and that they are the source of all our pain, and the chief culprits which push our children to the brink of disaster. Once I’d understood these things, I decided to let go of my previous wrong views and no longer force my daughter to study. I wanted only to entrust my daughter’s future to God, obey God’s sovereignty and arrangements and be a caring mother.

Through Obeying God’s Sovereignty, I Felt Relaxed and Free

Soon after, my daughter had to take her exams to get into grade school. When I saw other parents signing their children up to interview training classes to train their children for the Year One interviews in grade school so that they would get into the best schools, I thought that maybe I should also sign my daughter up to these classes. That way, my daughter would give a good impression when she came to do her interview, her talents would stand out from all the other students, and there would be more hope of her getting into a good school. Just as my husband and I were discussing this matter and preparing for it, I realized I was once again trying to use knowledge to change my daughter’s destiny. I thought of God’s words, “Regardless of differences in ability, IQ, and willpower, people are all equal before fate, which makes no distinction between the great and the small, the high and the low, the exalted and the mean. What occupation one pursues, what one does for a living, and how much wealth one amasses in life are not decided by one’s parents, one’s talents, one’s efforts or one’s ambitions, but are predetermined by the Creator” (“God Himself, the Unique III”).

God’s words served as another reminder that the job a person will do in their life and whether or not they will have a good future has nothing whatsoever to do with the knowledge they have mastered or how capable they are, but instead it is all orchestrated and arranged by the Creator. I thought of my brother’s classmate who finished college and still couldn’t find a job, so could only sell things on a small stall in his home town. One of my work colleagues finished studying media at college but ended up as a waitress in a restaurant. Whereas one of my dad’s classmates didn’t even finish middle school and yet had become a big shot in the property market. All these facts showed that one’s destiny was in God’s hands, and that possessing knowledge had no bearing on one’s future prospects. Once I’d understood God’s will, I hurriedly came before God and prayed, “O God! My daughter is about to take the exams to get into grade school and I see that I’m still living by the satanic views and ideas that “Knowledge can change your fate,” and “The worth of other pursuits is small, the study of books excels them all,” wanting to use knowledge to change her destiny. O God! I don’t want to keep doing this, but instead I want to place my daughter’s future in Your hands. Your good will is behind it all, no matter what school my daughter gets into, and I wish to submit to Your orchestrations and arrangements.” After praying, I felt much more relaxed, and I didn’t sign my daughter up for the interview training classes.

Something then happened beyond all expectations. When the schools all published their lists of successful candidates, I suddenly received a call from the school I had had my heart set on all along, and the principal said he wanted to see my daughter. I thought this was very strange as my daughter had clearly stated that she hadn’t done very well in her exams and that she hadn’t answered a lot of the questions. And my daughter’s best-scoring classmate was not being taken on by this school, so why had the principal come looking for us? When we got to the school, the principal told us that my daughter’s exam grades were pretty average, and that they wanted to give her another chance to take the exams. I was very surprised to hear this—this principal who had consistently demanded high grades was unexpectedly willing to give my daughter another chance to take her exams! Later, my daughter took the exams again and really was taken on by the school. After this experience, I became even more certain that my daughter’s destiny was in God’s hands, and was not something that I was able to decide for her.

In Practicing God’s Words, My Daughter and I Get Closer

After experiencing God’s wonderful arrangements, I no longer wanted to change my daughter’s destiny through knowledge, but wished only to place her in God’s hands, let nature take its course and allow my daughter to grow up happily. Afterward, I changed the way I educated my daughter and no longer forcefully demanded that she attend study classes or do extracurricular study exercises. Sometimes my daughter wanted to go out and play before she’d finished her homework, so I would have a talk with her and say, “Go play for half an hour and then finish your homework, OK?” Hearing this, my daughter would nod cheerfully. Sure enough, after a little while, my daughter would come back of her own accord and do her homework, and her attitude was much more conscientious than it had been before. After some time, my daughter’s math grades improved, and she became as happy and lively as she had ever been.

Now my daughter shares my belief in God, and every day we sing hymns and read God’s words together, our hearts filled with peace and joy. My relationship with her is getting more and more harmonious as time goes on as well. I know that this is all God’s deeds, and that it was God’s words which led me to find the right path to educate my child. Thanks be to God!

One day after dinner, I taught my eldest son how to read Chinese—just the simple words, “Heaven, earth, people, and, soil, daddy, mommy….” I taught him quite a few times, but he still couldn’t write them. He would write the first word and then forget the next one. The anger inside me rose up, I scowled at him and shouted loudly: “How stupid you are! You cannot even learn these few words!” My eldest son was frightened into running to stand in the corner. I scolded him, “Come over here and keep writing!” My eldest son did not come over, so I grabbed hold of him and pulled him onto the chair. Seeing my eldest son’s pitiful look, I felt a stabbing pain in my heart. I cried and returned to my room and prayed to God: “God! As soon as my child displeased me, I could not control my anger. I don’t want to treat my children like this. God, may You help me.” After praying, I slowly calmed down. Continue reading “I Found the Way to Improve Relationships With Children (Part 2)”

I have two sons and they are one year apart. In order to raise them to be cultured, well mannered, good people who will be able to establish themselves in society and succeed, when they were two years old, I discussed finding a good kindergarten for them with my husband. After some visits, inquiries and comparison, we selected an English kindergarten because they placed importance on children’s caliber and ability, which matched my view on educating children. Although the tuition fees were a bit high, as long as the children were able to develop better and get a better education, it was worth spending a little more money.
